BIRTV Awards
Prizes will be awarded to the most innovative products, the most expected products and products with the most practical applications. These awards will be the indicators for the future developments of radio, TV technologies and also the guideline for their consumption.

General Provisions
1. The Appraisal Activities of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV is held for the purpose of strengthening the technical advisory work and pilot role, and providing positive guidance and effective assistance in the field of new technology promotion and equipment purchase. The regulations are made to determine and standardize the activity content and operation process and to put forward the specific judging requirements.
2. The participants of the Appraisal Activities of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV can be all the manufacturers, developers, agents & retailers of the exhibited products, and the broadcasting operation organs at various levels involving in systematic engineering construction and technical application development.
3. The Appraisal of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV will be held once every year. It is temporarily decided that the applying, recommending, examining and judging process is conducted from March to August, while publicizing and awarding activities will be held in August during BIRTV exhibition period.
4. The scope of the appraised products entering the Appraisal Activities of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV should principally be those products, techniques and application projects exhibited in the current BIRTV exhibition or recommended in the exhibitions, temporarily divided into such five categories as ‘Audio production and broadcast’, ‘video production and broadcast’, ‘the delivery and transmission of radio and television’, ‘information engineering’, ‘the production, projection and distribution of the film’, and the applying reports of each category should be submitted, recommended, and examined separately.
5. The following award items of Appraisal Activities of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV are offered: Award of Appraisal Activities of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV of China International Radio, Film and TV Exposition., Technical Award of Appraisal Activities of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV of China International Radio, Film and TV Exposition, Applying Award of Appraisal Activities of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV of China International Radio, Film and TV Exposition.
6. The Review Committee of the Appraisal Activities of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV are consisted of professional scholars, experts, and authorities, responsible for the work of consideration, deliberation and discussion based on the principles of science, authorities, objectivity and impartiality, fully review and evaluate such kinds of measuring factors as advance, creativity, completion, and economy. The final award result of the Appraisal Activities of the Products, Techniques and Applications Projects of BIRTV will be created based on the above-mentioned process and complemented by the networking voting on the website of the BIRTV Organizing Committee. The Review Committee will set up several special review panels in accordance with the professional types of the applied products, techniques and applying projects, undertaking and implementing the work of examination and evaluation while the BIRTV Organizing Committee is responsible for carrying out the website voting work.
7. The working plan for the Appraisal Activities of Products, Technologies and Applied Projects of BIRTV Exhibition will be coordinated, prepared, arranged and implemented by the special working panel, which is consisted of members from CCTV, CRTV Co., China Broadcasting Science Academy, China Movie Equipment Co., and China Industrial Society for Radio & Television Equipment. This working panel is the coordinating organs and operation group during the period of the Appraisal Activities of Products, Technologies and Applied Projects of BIRTV Exhibition, responsible for all work concerning advice, question-answer and archive collection.
